Denisenko is a Ukranian printmaker, artist, calligrapher, author and sculptor who was born in 1961 and studied art at the Ukranian Academy of Graphic Arts.
His work is immediately identifiable, with his characters encased in metal and wood constructions of dubious effectiveness, engaged in the arcane business of their imaginary world. While they evoke the medieval times, it is not from our own history that these fantastical figures arise.
