| Judith Rothchild
is an American born artist, having grown up in Boston, Massachusett.
She now lives in the Languedoc region of France where she has been
producing beautifully rendered individual mezzotints and illustrated
books since 1996.
Her work has been exhibited at more than thirty solo exhibitions
throughout the United States and Europe, and is in numerous public
collections. Rothchild attended Sarah Lawrence College before completing
her artistic degree at the Rhode Island School of Design. She then
moved to Europe in 1974 and continued her training at the Academy
of Applied Arts in Vienna. Since that time she has continued her
work in both pastels and printmaking, as well as working collaboratively
on artists books.
