Christian Bozon was born in Lons-le-Saunier, France
in 1969. From 1986-1987 Bozon trained at the Art School
of Besancon and then began his career as a printmaker.
In 1993 he fulfilled a long-held dream by
organizing an engraving studio at the French Cultural
Centre in Tetouan, Moroccoin. He finally settled
in Malaga, Spain, and his art expresses
the warmth and colors of both Andalusia and Africa.
His prints are often a balance between
abstraction and landscape, which he creates with drypoint and aquatint. He has decided against etching as a technique.
Christian Bozon regularly exhibits in Europe, Japan, the United States and Africa in both solo and group exhibitions in galleries, institutions, Biennales and Salons. His work has been awarded numerous prizes in France and Spain.
